Tom is the Founder of TJA Leadership: a coaching firm that helps people lead their lives and their organizations with less fear and more passion, which enables them to take on bigger and more satisfying challenges.
Tom has been helping executives lead more effectively since he came to the States in 1995. He helped grow and ultimately led the consulting business at SYPartners. Then in 2018 he started his own business, drawing from 25 years of experience coaching CEOs and management teams to create an approach that is more effective than conventional executive coaching. The work benefits a leader’s life overall, and sometimes family members become clients.
Tom has taught leadership at Columbia's School for International and Public Affairs. He has also taught leadership and designed curricula for GE’s Management Development Institute at Crotonville and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. When he isn’t coaching, he may be swinging a kettlebell. Or hanging out with his family at the kitchen table (his favorite part of the house). He writes a monthly blog which you can sign up for here.
